Peter Keohane is a nationally recognized health care consultant and attorney with
over 13 years of experience in the industry. He started in health care as a consultant
and auditor, first for The Medical Management Institute, and then for The CMC
Group, LLC, a firm he founded. Peter has written numerous articles and textbooks
on healthcare coding, compliance, and other health law topics. He has also served
as Publisher of Medicare Compliance Alert, a bi-weekly publication focused on key
compliance topics in healthcare. Peter currently serves as a Healthcare Consultant
as well as the Compliance Officer for South Fulton Medical Center, managing the
facility’s compliance efforts. During this one hour webcast, Peter will assist providers
in preparing and responding to requests for Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) audits.
