Snare Options

When passed through an endoscope and activated, the snares deliver a monopolar electrical current to cut and cauterize tissue with the loop. The new Captivator® II Snare consists of a 33mm loop to help facilitate removal of sessile polyps during saline assisted EMR or for removal of large polyps. The Sensation™ Short Throw Snare is indicated for use in the removal and cauterization of diminutive, sessile, and pedunculated polyps. The Rotatable Snare consists of a flexible wire cable and loop which can be rotated using the rotation actuator to help the physician capture polyps in difficult locations.
